An Army veteran and a graduate of the University of San Francisco, Bernard P. Hagan enjoyed a more than 40-year career as a real estate developer. During this time, Bernard P. Hagan served on the board of the California Building Industry Association and led as president of both the San Francisco-San Mateo Building Industry Association and the Pacific Coast Builders Conference, known today simply as PCBC.

Since its inception in 1959, PCBC has grown from a small educational conference into an annual two-day event that stands as the home-building industry’s largest trade show on the West Coast. The conference strives to advance the science, art, and business of housing on behalf of its attendees, who come from across the housing industry and around the world.

PCBC alternates on an annual basis between San Francisco and San Diego, the latter of which served as host of the 2017 conference. Held June 28-29 at the San Diego Convention Center, PCBC 2017 consisted of educational events, networking opportunities, a curated exhibit floor, and targeted programs aimed at bringing together buyers and sellers. On June 27, housing professionals also enjoyed the option to participate in pre-conference proceedings, which for the first time included roundtable discussions.

PCBC 2018 is scheduled for June 27-28 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. As in 2017, pre-conference proceedings will occur the day prior. To learn more about attending, please visit PCBC.com.
